The Saskatchewan First Nations Water Association (SFNWA) is an incorporated non-profit, charitable organization that strives to support First Nations Water Systems Operators and other water staff in strengthening their capacity to learn about and operate their drinking water and wastewater systems within their nations. This includes networking, the development of training materials, research on wise practices related to water and wastewater treatment, monitoring and management, and policy development. The Association is governed by a board of directors, composed of First Nation Water System Operators and other First Nation and allied professionals who work in the areas of water and health.
