Main Duties
Reporting to the Surveillance Manager, this position focuses on risk mitigation, by monitoring Casino operations and cash transactions to ensure the protection of Casino and guest property, assets, and information, and by supervising Surveillance department staff and activities. Responsibilities include: Supervising day to day Surveillance operations, to ensure the protection of Casino assets. Communicating and monitoring compliance with Surveillance procedures, OH&S, and SIGA policies. Assisting the Surveillance Manager with staffing and performance management. Carrying out a wide variety of administrative tasks. Assisting with investigations. Performing all duties of a Surveillance Operator as required. Administering various computerized systems, including card access, camera, incident, key tracking, etc.. Maintaining operational and technical knowledge of digital and electronic surveillance/security equipment. Handling other tasks as required, to protect the integrity of the Casino’s operations and assets.
SIGA deems this position as a Safety-Sensitive position, which is therefore subject to Post-Incident and Reasonable Cause – drug and alcohol testing.  Safety-Sensitive positions are defined as any position in which impaired performance, impaired motor skills, or lack of judgment, could result in a significant incident affecting the health and safety of SIGA employees, patrons and/or contractors.
Conditions of Employment
The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
You may be required to work in an environment where you will be exposed to the use of tobacco smoke and high noise levels.
As a condition of employment, you will be required to work shift work. This may include days, evenings, graveyard, weekends and statutory holidays.  SIGA’s goal is to treat all staff fairly and equitably; therefore, the distribution of the shifts will be fair to all staff.
