Main Duties
Reporting to the Department Manager/ Coordinator and under the supervision of the Department Supervisor, this position focuses on delivering customer service excellence, and quality, value priced dining, by serving food and beverages to guests in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner, whether in the restaurant, on the gaming floor, or at functions held in the Casino’s Multi-Purpose Room. Responsibilities include: Providing exceptional hospitality, emphasizing personalized service and attentive treatment, to ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable. Adhering to responsible service of alcohol guidelines. Providing gaming floor beverage service. Restaurant & Bar duties include: Taking orders and delivering food and drink to the table. Carrying out basic food preparation. Maintaining tables in good order by bussing, sanitizing and resetting as required. Performing a variety of side work. Carrying out a variety of cleaning duties throughout the shift to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Catering & Event duties include: Assisting with event set up. Working as a member of the team to respond quickly and efficiently to event plan changes. Delivering food and/or beverage according to the type of event service. Assisting with post-event tear down and cleaning. Handling other tasks as required, to deliver exceptional hospitality, food and beverage service.
Conditions of Employment
The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
You may be required to work in an environment where you will be exposed to the use of tobacco smoke and high noise levels.
As a condition of employment, you will be required to work shift work. This may include days, evenings, graveyard, weekends and statutory holidays.  SIGA’s goal is to treat all staff fairly and equitably; therefore, the distribution of the shifts will be fair to all staff.
