Reporting to the Restaurant/Bar Coordinator or Food & Beverage Manager and under the supervision of the Restaurant/Bar Supervisor, this position handles Food & Beverage payments from guests. It achieves customer service excellence and mitigates risk by focusing on guest satisfaction and accurate, rapid payment processing. Responsibilities include: Processing payments for food and beverages, quickly and accurately. Doing a final service quality check with guests, referring service issues to others as appropriate. Selling entertainment tickets and maintaining sales records. Responding to general inquiries regarding Casino events and services. Maintaining accurate records of transactions (reconciliations, log sheets, etc.). Maintaining a clean and tidy cash station and entry area. Carrying out other tasks as required, to provide exceptional service to Casino guests.
Conditions of Employment
The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
You may be required to work in an environment where you will be exposed to the use of tobacco smoke and high noise levels.
As a condition of employment, you will be required to work shift work. This may include days, evenings, graveyard, weekends and statutory holidays. SIGA’s goal is to treat all staff fairly and equitably; therefore, the distribution of the shifts will be fair to all staff.
