Main Duties:
The Vice-President of IT & Gaming Systems at Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in its journey to strengthening the lives of First Nations people through employment, economic growth, positive community relations and financial self-reliance. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the Vice-President of IT & Gaming Systems is responsible for leading the IT and Gaming Systems department, which deliver information technology management and gaming services. Effectively plan and operate IT & Gaming Systems to provide support across the organization to meet current and future business requirements.  Providing strategic information systems, technology and gaming systems leadership and policy direction. Maintaining effective functioning and uptime of customer facing and business support applications.  Maintaining a secure and effective IT infrastructure with secure access control protocols.  Timely and effective deployment of IT and gaming systems capital investments.  Achieving and maintaining positive operating and financial results.  Compliance with legislation and regulations, Casino Operating Agreement, SLGA directives, corporate policies and generally accepted good businesses practices.  Timely, complete, accurate, relevant and robust reporting on departmental performance, key business risks and mitigating strategies.  Recruitment and retention of qualified and competent IT and Gaming Systems employees.  Obtaining and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders.  Risk mitigation through an effective system of internal controls.  Achieving department objectives and pursuing and contributing to the achievement of corporate goals and objectives.  Managing strategic business relationships.  Safeguarding and ensuring productive use of SIGA’s resources.  Fostering a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices and encourages openness, honesty, integrity and mutual respect and understanding and employee engagement.
