Job Description
The Yellow Thunderbird Lodge – Yorkton Tribal Council Inc. (YTL-YTCCFS Inc) is seeking an Intake Manager that will be responsible for management of the daily workflow and the leadership of intake investigation staff. This position manages an Intake unit that provides initial investigative and initial assessment duties and facilitates an orderly transition of Intake files to the ongoing case management sector for more comprehensive ongoing case management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW or BISW).
- Valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License.
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Experience in front-line service delivery of First Nation Child and Family Services.
- Working experience in Child Welfare Frontline Case Management systems and procedures.
- Strong commitment to helping First Nations children and their families by providing services in ways that respects First nations cultural and spiritual practices.
- Commitment to providing service in the context of extended family and community involvement.
- Must sign an Oath of Confidentiality.
- Must provide a clean driver’s abstract and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Able to work some evenings and weekends.
Salary range is $65,000-$85,000 per annum.
