Job Summary

 

The Case Aide is responsible for providing administrative support services to Family Services Workers.  Their primary role is to help develop and coordinate administrative tasks so that efficient and detailed information be readily available for all Case files.  They will also provide transportation services to clients as needed.  Case Aide(s) report to the Maintenance Administrator. 

 

LOCATION:                 Onion Lake Family Services

DEPARTMENT:          Protection

TERM:                          1 Permanent Position

CORE HOURS:            Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

                                    Please note, some evenings and weekends may occasionally be required

 

Based on these services, we are seeking an energetic, conscientious, and detail oriented individual who enjoys making a difference, being part of a team, and takes pride in his or her career.

 

As a Case Aide, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with data entry/updating of client files on database
  • Assist staff in the coordination and preparation of materials for meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required
  • Photocopying/faxing/typing of letters/documents
  • Contact notes – documentation of transports, face to face and home visits
  • General administrative duties
  • Transport of clients as needed
  • Other duties as requested by supervisor

 

Requirements:

·         Office administration or business administration diploma required.  Equivalences will be considered

·         1-2 years Office Administration experience

·         Computer savvy including faxing, coping, scanning

·         Ability to collect, record and report comprehensive and confidential client information in accordance with professional standards and guidelines

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with acceptable driver’s abstract
  • Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector
