Male Transporter/Case Aide – Safety Sensitive

Job Summary

 The Male Transporter/Case Aide is responsible for providing transport and administrative support services to Family Services Workers.  Their primary role is to transport clients and coordinate administrative tasks so that efficient and detailed information be readily available for all Case files.  The Male Transporter/Case Aide reports to the Maintenance Administrator. 

 LOCATION:           Onion Lake Family Services

DEPARTMENT:   Administration

TERM:                   1 Permanent Position

CORE HOURS:      Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

                                 Please note, some evenings and weekends are required

As a Male Transporter/Case Aide, your responsibilities will include:

·         Transport clients as needed

  • Assist with data entry/updating of client files on database
  • Assist staff in the coordination and preparation for meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required
  • Photocopying/faxing/typing of letters/documents
  • Contact notes – documentation of transports, face to face and home visits
  • General administrative duties
  • Other duties as requested by supervisor

 

Requirements:

·         Office administration or business administration diploma required.  Equivalences will be considered

·         1-2 years Office Administration experience

·         Computer savvy including faxing, coping, scanning

·         Ability to collect, record and report comprehensive and confidential client information in accordance with professional standards and guidelines

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with acceptable driver’s abstract
  • Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector
