Main Duties
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, the Casino General Manager is responsible and accountable for the overall management, operation, integrity and profitability of the casino within a framework of SIGA's corporate strategic priorities, vision, mission and guiding principles. Duties include developing strategic plans to bring the work of the casino into alignment with SIGA's corporate vision and serves as an effective role model to the staff, by communicating the vision and the need to actively work towards its realization. This is achieved through the direction and guidance provided to managers and ensuring fundamentals are set in place to achieve the corporate objectives. The position is responsible for operationalizing SIGA's vision, mission, and values by researching, analyzing, planning and developing operational work plans, budgets and human resource plans to ensure an effective, efficient, integral and profitable business. The position models leadership to all departmental managers and employees by effectively coaching, providing feedback, and eliminating barriers to a creative, harmonious, respectful and effective work environment. This position will be required to work flexible hours to ensure effective communications with all senior managers, managers and staff.
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidates are subject to a background check as well are required to obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR).
The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
Must possess valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
Tobacco smoke/High noise levels (during time spent at Casino sites).

Compliance with all regulatory requirements as may be applicable to your position including but not limited to both SLGA requirements and the Anti-Money Laundering requirements set out in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC.
