The Lloydminster Public School Division is looking for a Full-Time Continuing FNMI Lead Teacher at E.S. Laird Middle School. The successful candidate will be required to teach the Cree language and cultural teachings at the middle and high school levels by providing additional support in the area of First Nations, Métis and Inuit education at Bishop Lloyd Middle School and the Lloydminster Comprehensive High School. This position will commence August 28, 2023.
E.S. Laird Middle School serves approximately 400 students in grades 7, 8, and 9. An understanding of middle years students and middle school philosophy, as well as a team orientation will be considered assets for this position.
The Lloydminster Public School Division is a progressive school division with a focus on excellence for its students and staff. It serves approximately 4400 students in the growing city of Lloydminster.
Options exist for the successful candidate to participate in either the Saskatchewan or Alberta Teachers Retirement Pension Fund.
The successful candidate will be required to produce a satisfactory current criminal records/vulnerable sector check as a condition of employment.
