Main Duties:
Reporting to the Casino Shift Manager, this position ensures that Casino guests enjoy exceptional customer service, and quality, value priced dining, by coordinating, budgeting and planning restaurant, bar, outlet, gaming floor and catering operations, where applicable.
Responsibilities include: Monitoring operations, with particular attention to maintaining the highest levels of guest relations. Ensuring that casino-based food outlets comply with all requirements relating to franchising and licensing. Leading staffing and performance management activities. Communicating policies, procedures and standards to staff. Handling financial administration and general reporting activities. Ensuring the department has all goods and supplies required for effective operations. Modeling SIGA’s values, and presenting a positive image of SIGA in the community. Participating in other projects and activities as required, to ensure the successful operations of the restaurant, bar, outlet, gaming floor and catering services, where applicable.
Specific catering/event responsibilities include: Monitoring catering/event setup with scrupulous attention to detail, to ensure event plans are carried out to exceed client expectations. Overseeing the event itself, assisting in problem resolution and troubleshooting, and monitoring service quality. Coordinating sales and marketing of Catering & Event services. Developing new initiatives and projects, in consultation with the Food & Beverage Manager.
Conditions of Employment:
Successful candidates are subject to a background check as well are required to obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR).
The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
Tobacco smoke/High noise levels (during time spent at Casino sites).

Compliance with all regulatory requirements as may be applicable to your position including but not limited to both SLGA requirements and the Anti-Money Laundering requirements set out in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC.
