Main Duties:
Reporting to the VP Corporate Affairs, this position supports SIGA’s Board of Directors and the Vice-President of Corporate Affairs by coordinating logistics, communication, and information flow.
Responsibilities include: Coordinating all logistics for Board Members, meetings, and committees. Creating and maintaining thorough and accurate records of Board activities, decisions, expenses, correspondence, and other information as required. Proactively following up to ensure timely response to and completion of agenda or action items. Developing and maintaining strong lines of communication between the Board and its Committees. Coordinating legal and compliance activities. Supporting organizational policy compliance. Preparing and monitoring corporate legal files, such as litigation, labour, employment, estate matters and notice of seizures. Participating in other projects and activities as required.
